Amar Singh Club Jammu at Bikram Chowk , Jammu is one of the Oldest and most prestigious Clubs in north India. Named After Raja Amar Singh of the erestwhile ruling family of Jammu and Kashmir, the Club has evolved over the years from the handful of individuals into approximately One thousand & two hundred strong family. Today, we can boast of all possible amenities required in a good Club including Health Club, Swimming pool, Guest House, Billiards Room , Bar ,Restaurant , Card Room etc…
The Executive Committee
Sh. R L Bhalla, one of the senior most members of the club having become a member in 1953 recalls that sometimes after independence, probably in the early Fifties, the aura and the grace of the club was such that only a handful of top businessmen and other known personalities of the State were enrolled as members, which was otherwise deemed to be an officers’ club.
